This course teaches students to critically read and respond to literature. Course readings will cover a wide range of western literature to familiarize students with diverse literary genres, approaches, and techniques.
- Active participation is mandatory. - No cell phones or electronic search devices are allowed during classroom discussions and essay writing sessions. - Any sign of plagiarism will result in a 0 for the assignment. - The use of ChatGPT or other AI tools is strictly limited to refining diction and grammar; all drafts and ideas must be YOUR OWN. =========================================== The current syllabus is subject to change.
