計算機概論與程式設計

In this course, we would introduce the fundamental of programming using C language. The programming concepts and skills would be introduced through lectures and programming exercises. This course is also the entry to higher-level programming courses like data structure, computer architecture, and software engineering. The topics are divided into two parts: basic features of C and advanced features of C. After taking this course, the objectives is to enable the learners to have the following abilities: (1) Students have the concepts and skills for C programming. (2) Students can be familiar with the ways to solve the computing tasks by programming. (3) Students can understand how a program work and the working connection between program commands and PC hardware.

No Prerequisite. Having some programming background is plus.

 Every week, we would assign programming exercises and homework.  Homework 40%, Midterm 30%, Final Exam 30%, the grading method is subject to change.  Both Midterm and Final Exam are on-site programming tests.
