The principal goal of this course is to understand Stokes' theorem for surfaces in R^n. Along the way the class will introduce elements of the geometry of surfaces in R^n, the notions of differential forms and exterior differentiation and how they connect to the more familiar notions of vector fields, and the gradient, divergence, and curl operators.
