本課程針對設計領域研究生,以創意和實務型研究、設計科學、運算思維為核心,試圖建立設計研究之基本認識與初步練習。課程內容包括設計研究基本認識、創意研究的研究方法、數位建築史觀、設計思維、數位與運算思維、研究倫理、設計研究提案練習等。學期後半段,分為設計研究組、學士後兩組分開教學,針對研究方向與研究案例進行研習與寫作練習。 Professional design development encompasses a diverse range of careers, spanning from the idealistic to the pragmatic and from the academic to the industrial. Regardless of the specific profession, the ability to conduct design research and possess knowledge of design science is becoming increasingly vital. In architectural schools, while digital media is widely utilized for design representation and simulations, and despite the vast amount of information available online, there remains a significant gap in our proficiency to make informed design decisions and identify emerging design challenges. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for design research and thesis writing. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and exercises, students will acquire the essential knowledge and skills needed. Part 1 of the course lays the foundational knowledge for all students. Part 2A is tailored for MS and MArch II students, focusing on advanced design research that emphasizes innovation. Part 2B is designed for MArch I students, concentrating on preparing them to craft a design thesis that encapsulates and curates their academic works.
建築研究所設計研究組(數位&建築)一年級必修,學士後高年級為建議選修。開放外系所對設計研究感興趣之研究生選修。 This is a required course for MS & MArch II 1st-year students and recommended for MArch I 3rd-year students.
本課程以課前閱讀、課堂討論、研究方法操作、學術寫作、提案練習等方式進行。 Readings, discussions, practicing methodologies, academic writing, writing for proposals.
