【Course descriptions】Recently, Building Information Modeling has emerged as a powerful tool for all disciplines in the construction industry. BIM facilitates all parties involved in a project to coordinate efficiently and effectively, helping to head off potential problems from the design phase through to the construction and operation phases. Deploying BIM in the project is of paramount importance for companies to successfully manage and control a construction project. 【Course objective】This course aims to instruct students in systematically building a BIM model and deploying it to support construction management works.
Ability to understand and study construction drawings
Students will be provided files to work on as following the content of each topic.
1. Evaluation: homework + Quiz (25%), mid-term EXAM (25%), final EXAM (25% + 25%) 2. Suggested: Students should closely follow the instructions in the lectures
