本課程目標在提供修課同學對老化相關健康議題具備理論與實務知識。 課程進行以講授為主，輔以指定文章討論。 課程安排上從以老年族群為主的研究設計開始概念介紹，接著探討主要老化議題包括人口老化、身體活動功能測量、失能、衰弱、共病症、失智與憂鬱。 The goal of this course is to provide students with a broad range of theoretical and empirical knowledge on health issues associated with aging. The course will be mainly carried out with seminars, consisting of lecture presentation and in-class discussion of selected readings from the literature of aging research. Lectures arranged in the course will begin from the concepts of study design in aging research, and move on to the understanding of major geriatric issues covering demography、 functional measurements、disability、frailty、 comorbidity、dementia、and depression
