本課程是以最新的觀點,探討生物學的核心課程之一—發育生物學。課程以基因和分子層面的相關理論基礎出發,討論細胞在發育過程中如何分化,以及各器官或系統的發育,並舉例討論因胚胎發育異常所造成的 一些常見的先天畸型成因。課程亦討論幹細胞與複製(cloning)等相關議題。期望學生們對於人體發育有完整而最新的概念與了解。 This course utilizes new view points to explore the developmental biology. Course is based on gene and molecular principles to discuss the process of cell, organ, and system development, including birth defects. We will also discuss stem cell and the controversial cloning issues. Expecting students understand and have new concepts about human development .
