本課程將利用中醫實證醫學方法藉由一篇高品質臨床試驗期刊，並結合Nature Review了解最新的研究進展，以及該篇文章發表後編輯的話、讀者回信，甚至是作者回信，可以橫向與縱向探討了解目前該疾病的治療趨勢與瓶頸，進而可以思考中醫、針灸及太極拳可介入的空間與療效，並學習高品質期刊的論文撰寫邏輯與深度。因此本課程將安排臨床上常見且稍具難度之疾病，範圍橫跨多囊性卵巢、心臟衰竭、心肌梗塞、偏頭痛、帕金森氏症，可以了解中醫藥與針灸在不同學科的治療效果。
