This course uses a scenario-based approach to teach English for nursing communication across diverse hospital units and care settings. It aims to strengthen students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through authentic clinical dialogues and task-based practice. Clinicians from abroad (e.g., the USA, UK, and Australia) will be invited to share real-world nursing experiences, commonly used clinical expressions, and insights into communication within different healthcare systems. Through structured role-plays and simulations, students will demonstrate learning, build confidence, and develop practical competence in English nursing conversations. The course also serves as a preparatory platform and skill booster for students planning to study abroad, work in international contexts, or join exchange programs. To further support speaking development throughout the semester, an AI-assisted English-speaking platform will be integrated as a core learning tool for guided practice and feedback.
