課程目標與內容概述： 一、教導學習電影研究電影類型中的音樂劇電影。 二、比較相關百老匯音樂劇於舞台上的不同呈現。 三、閱讀了解音樂劇電影及百老匯歌舞劇由歐洲傳入美國的歷史起源各型態的演進發展。 四、懂得鑑賞最近新的音樂劇電影及百老匯音樂劇的各變化形式與敘事。 五、分析觀賞獲得奧斯卡獎的音樂劇電影及獲東尼獎受歡迎流行(最近較新)的音樂劇電影及百老匯音樂劇，及每時期代表性指標音樂劇電影及百老匯歌舞劇精華片段演出。 六、學習觀摩精選著名音樂劇中的歌曲、 舞蹈、演戲，試著表演或創作。 七、學習寫影評及劇評。 1. Teach to let students learn the genre of musical film in Film Studies. 2. Compare the different presentation of the related Broadway musicals on stage. 3. Read to understand the role of musical film and Broadway musicals in film and theatre history and their development and evolution. 4. Learn to appreciate the various forms and narratives of the latest new musical films and Broadway musicals. 5. Teach the analysis of the new latest recent famous and popular musical films which win Oscar Awards and Broadway musicals which win Tony Awards. And learn the representative musical films and Broadway musicals in each period. 6. Learn to sing, dance, and act in some famous scenes in noteworthy musical films and Broadway musicals. Try to perform or create. 7. Learn to write film reviews and performance reviews.
