An algorithm is a set of finite rules or instructions to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations. Data Structures is about rendering data elements in terms of some relationship, for better organization and storage. A good algorithm usually comes together with good data structures that allow the algorithm to manipulate the data efficiently. In this course you will learn about algorithms and data structures, two of the fundamental topics in computer science, and use C programming language to implement the algorithms used in bioinformatics and related data structures.
