(1) 課程介紹密碼學與網路安全的核心概念，講授內容包含：理論基礎、演算法設計與實務應用。 (2) 從數論基礎出發講授密碼技術的基本原理，逐步探討對稱式密碼、公開金鑰密碼、雜湊與訊息認證、金鑰管理、身分驗證、網路通訊安全，以及網路應用中的安全協定。 (3) 課程以 William Stallings 的教材為框架，教授Chapter 1至Chapter 14的內容： Ch 1. Background Ch 2. Introduction to Number Theory Ch 3. Classical Encryption Techniques Ch 4. Black Ciphers and DES Ch 5. Finite Fields Ch 6. Advanced Encryption Standard Ch 7. Block Cipher Operation Ch 8. Random Bit Generation and Stream Ciphers Ch 9. Public-Key Cryptography and RSA Ch 10. Other Public-Key Cryptography Ch 11. Cryptographic Hash Functions Ch 12. Message Authentication Codes Ch 13. Digital Signatures Ch 14. Key Management and Distribution
