Dynamics and vibration are everyday phenomenon observed from moving vehicles, operating machines, and even animal locomotion. The objective of this course is to teach undergraduate students the basic concepts and analysis methods to understand and quantify the dynamics and vibration of mechanical systems. Students will learn how to formulate the analysis by idealized the mechanical systems into one of the simple and mathematical tractable forms, for example, a particle, a rigid body or an elastic body.
