- Introduce the role of surveying within civil engineering and its applications in infrastructure, construction, and geospatial analysis. -Understand fundamental surveying theory, error propagation, and essential computational methods. -Become familiar with standard surveying instruments, field procedures, and professional workflows. -Develop practical skills in data processing, adjustment, and interpretation of surveying observations.

This course combines lectures with tutorial sessions conducted by teaching assistants. Suggested homework problems are provided for practice and to support preparation for the six quizzes.
