This course is designed to introduce the theory and application of statistical methods. We will focus on probability models, modern statistical concepts, and methods developed within a rigorous mathematical framework. Course topics include random variables and their properties, statistical inference, point and interval estimation, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling of experimental and observational data, sampling surveys, Bayesian analysis, decision theory, experimental design, and various practical applications, such as two-sample comparisons and analysis of variance (ANOVA). 教科書及參考書： Rice, John A.
