This course covers several advanced topics in the field of error-correcting codes, including turbo codes, LDPC codes, polar codes, and coded modulation. The objectives of this course are to enable students: • To develop a solid understanding of modern channel coding concepts; • To gain the ability to implement these coding schemes in computer-based simulations; • To understand the fundamental design principles and analytical tools used for constructing and evaluating such codes.
