本課程將深入介紹檔案系統與鍵值儲存系統之作用原理與設計哲學,課程主軸涵蓋:(1) 輸出/輸入設備 (2) 檔案系統基礎與設計原理 (3) 檔案系統效能與可靠性優化 (4) 檔案系統一致性與故障恢復機制 (5) 分散式檔案系統設計與管理 (6) 鍵值儲存系統之設計與應用 (7) 檔案系統安全性與存取控制 (8) 檔案系統虛擬化與容器化應用。修習本課程之學生需具備作業系統、C 語言以及基礎 Linux 指令的先備知識。此外,本課程也將依據最新研究趨勢,探討現今最新的儲存裝置與檔案系統之相關研究,並深入探討鍵值儲存系統在高效能儲存系統與大數據管理領域的應用。 This course will explore the working principles and design philosophy of File Systems and Key-Value Stores, with a primary focus on: (1) I/O Devices, (2) File System Basics and Designs, (3) Performance and Reliability Optimization in File Systems, (4) File System Consistency and Crash Recovery Mechanisms, (5) Design and Management of Distributed File Systems, (6) Design and Applications of Key-Value Stores, (7) File System Security and Access Control, and (8) File System Virtualization and Containerization Applications. Students are expected to have foundational knowledge of Operating Systems, proficiency in the C language, and familiarity with basic Linux commands. Additionally, the course will introduce contemporary research trends and discuss advanced topics on storage devices, file systems, and the implementation and applications of key-value stores, particularly in the context of scalable and dependable big data management.
