生態系統服務(Ecosystem Services)為健全生態系統所提供的人類永續生存所需之財貨與服務。為了理解如何以生態系統服務為基礎來形塑各項自然解方(Nature-based Solutions, NbS),本課程的目標在於引導同學認識生物多樣性如何支持生態系統功能,進而產生多樣化的生態系統服務;並學習各種生態系統服務的量化方法與工具,以及景觀生態學(Landscape Ecology)基礎下的保育策略。最終能具備透過進行自然生態系統的保育或復育,協助發展調適都市化與氣候變遷下集水區環境變遷自然解方之能力。 Ecosystem services are the goods and benefits provided by healthy ecosystems that are essential for human sustainable development. To understand how ecosystem services can serve as the foundation for shaping various nature-based solutions (NbS), this course aims to guide students in exploring how biodiversity supports ecosystem functions, which in turn generate diverse ecosystem services. Students will also learn methods and tools for quantifying ecosystem services, as well as conservation strategies grounded in landscape ecology. Ultimately, the course aims to equip students with the capacity to conserve and restore natural ecosystems and to develop nature-based solutions that address environmental changes in watersheds under urbanization and climate change.
