Basically, this course will cover three topics: the fundamentals of finite difference approximations, finite volume schemes, and finite element methods.
Linear Algebra and Analysis
The grading policy will be 1. biweekly homework assignment: We expect to have seven homework assignments. The percentage will be 56%. 2. two exams: The first exam will be held on 4/16. The second one will be held on 6/11. Based on the order of scores, the percentages will be 26% and 18%respectively。
