概述
We are aiming to introduce the notion of group testing with its various applications, especially its recent application to molecular biology screening designs. We also summarize those mathematical topics which play an important role in developing the theory of so-called pooling designs.

Mainly by lectures.

We shall have one Homework assignment given around mid-term and a Final Project reported by the end of 16 weeks, each counts 50% of your grade. No test in this class.
