本課程分為兩大部分:前半學期聚焦於光化學機構 (Mechanistic Photochemistry),涵蓋激發態動力學、(非)輻射過程及能量與電子轉移機制;後半學期則探討超分子(光)化學,研究非共價交互作用及多分子組裝體中展現的光物理性質。 This course is structured into two main parts: the first half focuses on Mechanistic Photochemistry, covering excited-state dynamics, (non-)radiative processes, and energy/electron transfer mechanisms. The second half explores Supramolecular (Photo)chemistry, focusing on non-covalent interactions and emergent photochemical properties in multi-molecular assemblies.
空間概念與立體化學: 需具備有機分子三維結構的空間感,並對立體化學基礎有紮實的理解。 軌域理論與量子化學: 熟悉分子軌域理論以及基礎量子化學之核心概念。 熱力學與動力學基礎: 熟練掌握化學熱力學與動力學的基本物理化學原理。 Spatial and Stereochemical Proficiency: A solid conceptual understanding of the three-dimensional structures of organic molecules and fundamental stereochemistry. Orbital and Quantum Literacy: Familiarity with Molecular Orbital (MO) Theory and basic concepts of Quantum Chemistry. Thermodynamic and Kinetic Foundations: A firm grasp of the fundamental principles of Chemical Thermodynamics and Kinetics.
本課程採用投影片與板書並行的教學方式。課堂中將穿插引導式問題,鼓勵學生即時應用所學概念,激發主動思考與科學辯論。 This course utilizes a combination of slides and board work. Lectures will incorporate guided questioning to encourage real-time application of concepts, stimulating active thinking and scientific debate.
期中考試 (Mid-term Exam) (50%): 採開書考試,禁止使用手機、電腦或平板電腦。 期末專題 (Final Project) (50%): 形式為小論文或專題報告,具體主題與格式將於選課結束後公布。 Mid-term Exam (50%): Open-book format; use of phones, PCs, or tablets is strictly prohibited. Final Project (50%): Either an essay or a presentation; specific topics and formats will be announced after the add/drop period.
