先修科目

ATTENTION!! You MUST be present on the first day of class or you will be dropped from the course.

教學方式

Participation: You are required to read any material before coming to class. Active participation in classroom discussion and activities is also expected. Assigned homework will be collected and / or checked in class. In addition, announcements, handouts, and homework will be posted on the new e3. No late work will be accepted, and no make-up tests will be given unless it is for an official reason with prior approval. One of the ways to improve listening comprehension is to discuss what you have heard with your peers. Talking with other students can help you better understand the information. Each time we have group discussion there will be 3 duties to be performed (Leader, Note Taker, and Presenter) while the remaining group students will be group members. Throughout the semester, you must do each task at least once. Attendance: If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what was done in class that day. You are responsible for all assignments. Absence is not an excuse for not handing in an assignment. You must also register your absence within ONE WEEK on the school's leave request website (https://stuoffcourse.nycu.edu.tw/index.php). Every absence will lower your attendance grade and being late will reduce your attendance grade as well. More than 3 unexcused absences may cause you to fail the course. Exams: The mid-term will be a written exam which will focus on the material covered in class. The final will be an oral exam and will focus on students' ability to analyze and discuss the topics covered in class.
