電信網路的快速發展與普及，並對今日的世界無論在政治、經濟、軍事、商業、教育、工業產生重大的影響。本課程將介紹電信網路發展歷史、重要技術演進、產業與相關法規、網路管理與行動網路概論，以實際營運應用角度對照技術演進來進行課程，目標以學生未來可能從事的職務角色的觀點，來理解電信通訊的場景與應用。
