教學目標(中文) – 本課程將介紹不同類型的生物訊息分子、資料庫、次世代DNA定序平台與可促進生物醫學研究的生物資訊分析工具。 每週將進行2小時的講座和1小時的實驗室培訓,學生學習使用既有的生物資訊軟資訊分析DNA、mRNA、蛋白質、基因表達數據、疾病基因以及蛋白質-蛋白質交互作用等資料。 在這門課程中,學生應該能夠: 1. 探索公共DNA、蛋白質、基因體、轉錄體與疾病等資料庫 2. 利用NCBI和國內生物資訊資源 3. 下載並使用Bioedit套裝軟體來分析DNA,RNA和蛋白質 4. 熟悉基因體計畫 5. 使用 FinchTV 軟體檢查DNA定序原始數據 6. 懂得微陣列數據分析的工作知識 7. 使用適用的網絡資源分析和探索蛋白質間交互作用以及蛋白質連接途徑 教學目標(英文) – This course will introduce different types of biomolecular information, databases, next-generation DNA sequencing platforms, and bioinformatic tools that may facilitate biomedical research. The students will receive per week 2-hour lecture and 1-hour hands-on laboratory training of using available bioinformatics software to analyze DNA, mRNA, protein, gene expression data, disease genes, protein-protein interactions, etc. After completion of this course, the students should be able to: 1. Explore public DNA, protein, genome, transcriptomic, and disease databases 2. Use NCBI and domestic bioinformatics resources 3. Download and use the Bioedit software package to analyze DNA, RNA, and proteins 4. Familiar with genome sequencing projects 5. Use FinchTV software to examine DNA sequencing raw data 6. Demonstrate a working knowledge of microarray data analysis 7. 本課程前半段,教學示範及作業,有使用 BioEdit 套裝軟體 (屬 Windows 軟體, 不適用於 Android 平版電腦, 不適用於 Apple 設備) In the first part of this course, the teaching demonstrations and assignments use the BioEdit software package (a Windows-based program, not compatible with Android tablets and not supported on Apple devices)
