This course aims to enhance students’ English listening comprehension and oral communication skills through exposure to authentic audio-visual materials, including lectures, interviews, news reports, podcasts, and discussions on contemporary issues. Emphasis is placed on critical listening, interactive discussion, and the development of confidence in spoken English.
Basic listening comprehension and oral communication skills in English are required.
Teaching methods include interactive discussions, listening exercises, collaborative learning activities, student presentations, and task-based classroom activities. Students are encouraged to actively participate in English communication throughout the course.
Attendance: 20% Exercises: 20% Midterm presentation: 30% Final Exam: 30%
